Bass

Joe first picked up the bass in the summer of 2005 when a friend said to him, “if you get a bass you can be in the band.” Predominately self-taught, the first few years following were spent performing in grungy garage bands and learning Rush songs by ear.

During his studies at Berklee College of Music, Joe was fortunate enough to spend a year under the private instruction of both Joe Santerre as well as the great Victor Bailey. In 2016 he released his solo E.P. “Isometry”, and later that year teamed up with fellow Berklee alums to form Arch Echo. In 2017, he relocated to Nashville to work as a session bassist and to collaborate alongside local songwriters.

Joe currently offers bass lessons worldwide over Skype. He is also available for remote bass tracking sessions. Joe proudly rocks .strandberg* and Saito Basses, Rotosound Strings, and products from Tech21NYC, Darkglass Electronics, GruvGear and 64 Audio.
